About Linden Creek

Linden Creek is a picturesque Illinois town with a rich history dating back to 1886. Located just 40 miles from downtown Chicago, our community combines natural beauty with small-town charm. The tree-lined streets, historic buildings, and friendly atmosphere make Linden Creek a beloved destination for visitors and a cherished home for residents.

Named after the linden trees that grow along our creek, our town has preserved its historic character while embracing progress. The historic district showcases architecture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, telling the story of our community's evolution from a rural settlement to the vibrant town it is today.

With a population of approximately 7,500, Linden Creek maintains a close-knit community feel where neighbors know each other by name. Our town prides itself on sustainability initiatives, excellent schools, and a thriving local business district that supports independent shops and restaurants, while offering convenient access to Chicago.
